We listened to our patients!  We now have dental products for sale that you may not be able to find around the Gregory area.  Many patients have shared concerns with us that they don’t drive out of town to purchase specialty products, such as, flossing aids or electric toothbrushes, so we have now decided to carry these products.  You can stop by the office anytime during business hours to purchase replacement heads for your flossing aids or electric toothbrushes, whitening products, dry mouth products and children’s toothpaste and spinbrushes.  We also carry mouth guards for wrestling or other contact sports.

February was a busy month in our office!  Our team was active with several activities to promote Children’s Dental Health Month.  Each of our hygienists gave programs to local schools.  Nichole had the opportunity to travel and to present a hygiene program to Colome’s after school students.  Tracie addressed the kindergarten class at Gregory Elementary School.  Both were able to have fun with the kids and provide great information about oral care.  Dr. Hull’s 3-year-old son, Isaac, passed out toothbrushes to the nursery school program at Winner Preschool.  And our largest program was our Give Kids A Smile Day!

This was our 8th year participating in the national Give Kids A Smile Day!  This is a day where dental offices around the country provide free dental services to children.  At Hull Dental Health, we provided free dental check ups to children 13 and under and when able other dental services as well, such as, sealants, fillings, etc.  This year we served the most children ever — 21!!  We felt great about this.  We provided over $3500 worth of free dental services to the children that participated that Friday.  The team members who volunteered their time and services were:  Dr. Hull, Raquel, Sarah, Christina, Karen & Cara.  We are all ready gearing up for next year!  If you were unable to participate this year, please remember this is an event we do every February.  Below is several pictures of our Give Kids A Smile Day!

Once again Dr. Hull and our staff will be volunteering their time to sponsor Give Kids A Smile Day on February 3rd, 2012.  We are currently scheduling children ages 13 and under who are not covered by any dental insurance program or the South Dakota Medicaid program for FREE dental check-ups.  If you are interested in scheduling a child for this event or would like more information, please contact Karen or Christina at 605-835-9671.  Our goal is to provide free services to as many children as possible.
